ABOUT
KIMBERLEY GARDNER, MA, ACC, COC, CPHR
Experienced. Creative. Supportive.
My academic path includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University. I have been pursuing the academic knowledge and experience to support a career in coaching for the last five years. This includes coaching personally and professionally, becoming a Certified Organizational Coach through the University of British Columbia and earning the Associate Certified Coach credential through the International Coach Federation.
My professional life involves more than 20 years of human resources and organizational development experience beginning in a small, family-owned business and moving progressively into senior leadership roles in the British Columbia Public Service. I have designed my career to align with my personal values around leadership, teams, organizational effectiveness and being of service to others. I am also certified in many psychometric instruments to help bring people to different levels of self-awareness, which can help them to claim a different perspective and grow. In my work I have the privilege of coaching individuals and teams.
My coaching philosophy and role as coach is to help people to put themselves in the spotlight so they can gain insights to create the best life for themselves and shine both personally and professionally. I have this vision to empower others and myself by being a dynamic, compassionate and poised leader and coach; to make a positive difference in the lives of others by being courageous and authentic. To give myself permission to experience my life, as I want to experience it; this includes love and family, career success, travel, financial security, and being open to and claiming every opportunity that is offered to me. My vision guides me in all aspects of my life. Through coaching, I hope to inspire others to imagine and create the lives they want.
